fake[dac~] events showcase audio visual performers (AV), VJ’s and live coders working with new algorithmic art forms.
The last event of 2023 will be held on Friday the 25th of August at Wharf Chambers in Leeds and features the heavy hitters of the vibrant algorave movement including:
heavy lifting and hellocatfood. You can expect to see pattern based music ranging from ambient to club / EDM generated in real time by performers that are doing electronic music live using a variety of technologies. You can expect to hear the result of code manipulations being made by the performers projected behind them. hellocatfood also generates real time visuals with his algorithmically generated music and is a proponent of live coding and audio visual art.
You must be a member or a guest of a member to attend any events at Wharf Chambers, the annual membership cost is £2 per year.
