HEINOUS WHINING PRESENTS: BOHMAN BROTHERS // LOVELY HONKEY // BIRD BRAINS // “USURPER”

Heinous Whining soilders on into 2024 (a weird made-up year from the future rudely supplanted into the present day) with more showcases of old-head lifers and the young stalwarts of the noisenik world. Bohman Brothers return to Leeds (you’ll have seen Adam rocking it solo or Secluded Bronte (them and a pal) in 2019/20 if you knew what you’re doing with yourself.
No one turned away for lack of funds as always. Just bring a friend and an open mind and a stiff drink and maybe a hot water bottle
Adam Bohman and Jonathan Bohman have been recording together
since their early teens and playing live since 1984.
Their repertoire includes a combination of sounds created in the
moment and distinct compositions including songs. They use
unconventional instruments, household objects, dislocated text from
found, literary and commercial sources and collaged layers of
recordings.

Bird BrainsStraight from the brain of Bird. Tape scavenger and feral vocal improvisextrodinairre brings tight-focused murk/gunk/drone adjascent headsmoothing good music with the laser focus and brevity of a grindcore set
