Warm up on a winter’s night by coming out to sing your hearts out in gig space with four of the finest British emo bands currently doing it. Slash Fiction and The Yacht Club are coming to Leeds, and we’ve added Student Slasher Film and Perfect Teeth to the mix to make it one to remember/cry about
SLASH FICTION
South Yorkshire’s finest, fresh off the release of their second full-length album “We’ll Hold This Line Until Hell Freezes Over”. You can expect powerful odes to solidarity, a signature three-way vocal arrangement, and a healthy mix of intensely personal songs with equally anthemic rallying cries.
THE YACHT CLUB
Champions of 5th wave emo, The Yacht Club offer a unique blend of delicate fingerstyle guitars and technical flurries. They’re math rock meets midwest emo, with a sound like a fistfight between American Football and Jimmy Eat World, all written by City and Colour.
STUDENT SLASHER FILM
Pioneers of midwest-yorkshire emo, this gang of Leeds lovelies have had a whale of a time supporting the likes of Michael Cera Palin and Prince Daddy and the Hyena. Expect catchy yet complex riffs, driving rhythms, and larynx-ripping vocals that straddle emo, post-hardcore, indie rock, and punk.
