Gabriel Minnikin – Gruff baritone-voiced Canadian maritime folk-rock mainstay
A uniquely talented Canadian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Gabriel Minnikin has been a mainstay in the Maritime music scene ever since breaking in with The Guthries in the 1990s. Gabriel has established himself as an in-demand artist not only in his own right but playing with the likes of Blue Rodeo, Bahamas, Gordie Sampson, Buck65, Kinley Dowling, KD Lang and Diana Jones.

Gem Andrews – Scouse-via-Newcastle alt-country for the girls, gays and theys
Born in Liverpool, raised in Newcastle, musician Gem Andrews makes music that is deeply rooted in alt-country and British folk, with her fiercely independent voice carrying inflections of Patsy Cline, Lucinda Williams and Kate & Anna McGarrigle. Gem currently lives in Newcastle upon Tyne with her wife, and two small children

Serin – Sad boi folk
Serin is a Leeds-based queer/trans songwriting/folk duo, made up of Wren Boon and Lucy Bacon. Combining vocal harmonies, powerful violin melodies and gentle guitar, they perform original and traditional songs from the UK and US. They sing about gender, queerness, birds, and home/belonging. Serin are releasing their debut EP ‘Canary’ in October 2025.
