SUMMARY:Seven by Seven
DESCRIPTION:Seven by Seven is a friendly open decks vinyl playing session. You can bring along and play us seven of your 7” 45rpm vinyl singles – hence Seven by Seven – or just come and listen to others play. The 7” 45rpm format is the only limitation. We don’t dictate the type of music – you can play whatever you want to\, and we relish that variety!\n\n\n\nNo DJ skills are needed\, and our ethos is – no pressure\, no competition\, no egos.\n\n\n\nPlease get there early to put your name down. We draw names out for the running order and later arrivals may be too late to be drawn. We also sometimes reduce the number of records that some people can play if we have high numbers attending – but we do try to fit in as many seven record sets as possible.\n\n\n\nSeven by Seven is a non-commercial operation. We run our sessions purely for the joy of playing and listening to records as a shared experience.

SUMMARY:Free Music Lessons -- Haptic\, Hell on Hearth\, Thomas Carroll
DESCRIPTION:Haptic\nAcross two decades of restless experimentation\, the Chicago trio Haptic (Steven Hess\, Joseph Clayton Mills\, Adam Sonderberg) has earned a reputation for meticulously assembled recordings that are complemented by unpredictable\, often riveting live performances. They’ll be joined by Linda Jankowska for this performance.\nHell on Hearth\nSean Wárs has a truly monolithic set of releases over the last few years\, ‘unsettling ambient’ or perhaps the sound of a giant metal door with bad things behind it being opened very slowly.\nThomas Carroll\nProbably I’m going to mess around with electronics in some capacity.\nMore info here\nTICKETS ON DOOR ONLY

SUMMARY:Ashes To Soil Tour
DESCRIPTION:Nomadic Rituals\, a trio from Belfast\, Northern Ireland\, has been delivering a powerful mix of sludge and doom metal since 2012. They are a hidden gem in the UK metal scene. Since their inception\, they have been pushing boundaries to produce distinctive and immersive sounds that blends elements\, including psychedelic and progressive patterns\, yet keep unbridled heaviness at their core. Their intensity is distinct\, powerful and impactive. Nomadic Rituals latest release\, ‘Fust’ in 2025\, under Cursed Monk Records\, is a compelling affair that creates expansive\, hefty soundscapes from substantial elements\, conveys an immense sludgy weightiness\, and showcases a significant and formidable presence. \n\nBile Caster have been ripping concrete across the UK in recent months with their brand of horrifically hefty slow sludge. Akin to Primitive Man and Torpor\, they released their first album ‘Writhing Between Birth and Death’ in 2024 (Road To Masochist) \n  \nAcceptance (formerly Fatalist) are existentially harrowing\, atmospheric black metal catharsis from Leeds. With the release of their forthcoming album “Crucifixion of Orchids” in 2025 (Road To Masochist) attendees can anticipate a powerful and immersive sound experience. \n\nSupport – UBURU\nTickets: https://roadtomasochist.co.uk/gigs \n

SUMMARY:Re-Animator (1985) Film Screening
DESCRIPTION:DEATH IS JUST THE BEGINNING… \nObsessed with defeating death\, brilliant but deranged medical student Herbert West invents a glowing green serum that can reanimate dead tissue. Roping in his sceptical roommate and fellow student Dan Cain\, the two perform increasingly dangerous experiments on dead bodies that spiral out of control. Loosely based on a H.P. Lovecraft short story\, this deliciously camp\, darkly comic cult favourite blends grotesque\, glistening body horror with outrageous slapstick – a descent into madness and joyous chaos! \nTickets: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/re-animator-1985-film-screening-tickets-1597351604649?utm-campaign=social&utm-content=attendeeshare&utm-medium=discovery&utm-term=listing&utm-source=cp&aff=ebdsshcopyurl

SUMMARY:Nina Garcia (FR) + Arnaud Rivière (FR) + Pleb (UK)
DESCRIPTION:NINA GARCIA (FR) \nMiraculous solo shredding from the electric maverick formerly known as Mariachi. Nina Garcia’s dynamic guitarwork amasses immensity through minimalism\, using an electromagnetic microphone to create great tensions from the smallest of gestures. Shades of noise\, drone\, post-punk and blues converge and collapse around the artist and instrument’s dance. \nPLEB (UK) \nSlow\, synergised sorrow from a guitar-and-drums sludge duo playing in the tradition of void enjoyers Corrupted. Spun off from Give Over\, Pleb grind metal down to its rawest form\, schlepping sparse\, despondent riffs through a chorus of amps\, thumps and growls. \nARNAUD RIVIÈRE (FR) \nArnaud Rivière’s scrapyard experiments are a loving tribute to repaired and repurposed sound. Equipped with a decrepit\, fixed-up turntable\, along with as many devices he can fit in a single square foot\, he creates ecstatic\, jumpstarted noise that’s all about the physical connections between performer and object. \n£8 advance / £12 on the door\n£5 unwaged / no one turned away for lack of funds \nTickets: https://wegottickets.com/event/669682

SUMMARY:Clothes Swap
DESCRIPTION:Clothes swaps are a great way to explore your style\, help others and save clothes going to landfill. \nSOMETHING NEW FROM OUR PREVIOUS SWAPS- we will have a tailor onsite doing alterations (on the day only)\, making packers\, adjusting binders etc \nWe try to recycle clothes where possible but we really appreciate it if you could check that donations are clean and in good condition. \nYou’ll be able to drop clothes off from 3 but we won’t allow anyone in to swap from 3.30 to make sure we’ve set everything up. The bar will be open as normal during the event. \nIf you don’t have clothes to swap but you want to take clothes\, that’s fine\, you can pay £2 per item instead. We’ll be taking donations to Trans Support Hub CIC which helps us keep these events free for those who can’t afford an entry fee. \nThere will be a changing room and mirror. \nWe’ve already got plenty of donations from our previous events so there will be lots off choice and we always keep a range of sizes\, but it’s even better if you can hang out in the bar and make multiple visits because we expect to get further donations throughout the day. \nWE REALLY APPRECIATE TRANS SPECIFIC DONATIONS SUCH AS BINDERS\, CHEST ENHANCERS\, GAFFS\, PACKERS ETC. \nWe’ll be taking pictures to promote the work we do and future events\, please let us know on arrival if you don’t want us to take your picture. \nENTRY ON THE DOOR WILL BE £2 \nCan’t wait to see you all there! \nGET TICKETS HERE
